On December 14 Azerbaijan-Swiss Business Forum took place in Baku Business Center.

The event was held with the participation of the First Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan Elnur Aliyev, Ambassador of Switzerland to Azerbaijan Erwin Bollinger, Ambassador of Swiss Confederation to Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan Muriel Peneveyre, Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Belgium Fuad Isgandarov, Chairman of the Management Board of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan Orkhan Mammadov, President of Swiss-Azerbaijan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SACCI) Claude Haegi and other valuable guests.

The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources and the Ministry of Energy with the support of ISR Holding and the Azerbaijan Automobile Federation held a rally of electric and hybrid cars.

The participants contributed to improving the air quality by planting trees in the area of Mushfigabad settlement where the march started. The car rally aimed at promoting the use of environmentally friendly cars continued till Gobustan Hybrid Power Station. Here, the participants of the event were shown a presentation covering topics about the share of the electric power sector in carbon emissions, measures to reduce emissions into the atmosphere, conventional fuel savings in electricity production, energy efficiency, and the use of renewable energy sources.

During the meeting Tariyel Rustamov – Finance Director of ISR Holding and Hilola Kalandarova – Group Financial Controller and 1C Project Manager introduced the functionality of the 1C Enterprise platform and provided insights on the practical use of the program.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, an annual campaign to increase awareness about this disease all around the world.

On September 21st General Assembly of the Swiss-Azerbaijani Chamber of Commerce and Industry was held in Geneva.

CEO of ISR Holding Rauf Khalilov was elected as a co-chair of the Strategic Operations Committee of the #SACCI.

During the meeting the reports on the activities of the chamber were presented, and further development plans were discussed. Swiss-Azerbaijani Chamber of Commerce and Industry will function as a bridge among entrepreneurs of both countries and will contribute to the development of strategic relations between the business structures of Azerbaijan and Switzerland.
