The first Zefer tournament finished with great success

On October 6-8, the first Zefer tournament was successfully finished at Dreamland Golf Club. During the two-day tournament, more than 70 golf players from Azerbaijan and Turkey took part in the competition.

The official guests, sportsmen and the tournament’s sponsors participated in the grand opening event. The Deputy Minister of Sport, Ms. Mariana Vasileva, inaugurated the event with her inspiring words, emphasizing the importance of sportsmanship and friendship in international sports.

Following Ms. Vasileva's speech, Mr. Rauf Khalilov, President of the Azerbaijan Golf Federation and CEO of ISR Holding took the stage, expressing his delight at hosting this event and strengthening the bonds between the two nations through golf.

Mr. Ildırım Demiroren, President of the Turkish Golf Federation, extended his warm greetings and shared his enthusiasm for the event, highlighting the long-standing friendship between Turkey and Azerbaijan.

As a symbol of friendship and cooperation, Presidents Khalilov and Demiroren exchanged memorable gifts, cementing the ties between the two federations.

This tournament carries a special significance as it is dedicated to the victory of the 2nd Karabakh War and the enduring friendship between Azerbaijan and Turkey. It serves as a testament to the strong bonds between the two countries, not only in the field of sports but also in their shared history and values.

The tournament was held with the support of brands such as Peugeot Azerbaijan, Lexus Baku and Baku Roses.
