A simpler version of the RX has a 2.4-liter turbo engine with 275 horsepower. The “light” Lexus RX will receive a 2.5-liter gasoline atmospheric engine and an electric motor with a total power of 246 horsepower. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes 7.4 seconds. It is based on a 2.4-liter turbo engine with 367 horsepower, along with another “mild” engine. The car accelerates to 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds.
RX interface is implemented according to the Tazuna (“bridle”) concept, which provides intuitive control of all functions. Designers changed the concept of the touch panel in the central tunnel and installed a 14-inch multimedia system touch screen. There is also a head-up display, a screen in the interior mirror, a panoramic sunroof and e-latch electric door locks. The Lexus Safety System+ 3.0 package is also available as standard.
During the presentation the new Lexus LM Premium Minivan was announced, as well as the teaser of the new Lexus GX model was shown.
